• Place des Vosges: The Place des Vosges is home to luxury shops, cafe terraces and a large restaurant. It offers access to the Victor-Hugo Museum and to Hotel de Sully.
• Place de la Batille: The Bastille district is famous both for its History and, also, for its Opera. The Colonne de Juillet dominates Place la Bastille. It stands on the site of the Bastille prison which was taken by the masses in 1789 at the start of the French Revolution. In the metro station, below the square, it is still possible to see the stones which formed its foundations.
• Canal Saint Martin
• After the Villette Basin, the Canal of the same name becomes Canal Saint Martin and passes underground below Bastille to rise to the surface at the port of Arsenal.
• Discotheques, Bars, restaurants: Place de la Bastille where you will find a large choice of all types of discotheques and some delicious restaurants.
• The Department Stores: the shops of Rue de Rivoli and Les Halles in Châtelet.

• Gare d’Austerlitz: Direct with metro line 5 and descend at Bastille.
• Gare Montparnasse: Metro line 4 and stop at Chatelet, then take metro line 1 and descend at Bastille.
• Gare Saint-Lazare: Metro line 14 and change at Chatelet for metro line 1 and descend at Bastille.
• Gare du Nord: Direct with metro line 5 and descend at Bastille.
• Gare de Lyon: 5 minutes walk along Rue de Lyon or take the metro line 1 direct to Bastille.
