THE HOTEL

The Hotel de la Herse d'Or opens its doors to you all year round for an original stay combining simplicity and value for money. In a setting favouring relaxation and cocooning, take advantage of our cosy decor and welcoming atmosphere. You will fall under the charm of this 400 year old building, which has been a hotel for more than 200 years, where modern comfort awaits you in a warm and original setting. The Wi-Fi Internet connection is offered to guests with a laptop computer free of charge and our Internet terminal offers some very competitive prices. You are our guests and service is an art which we know how to nurture!

Reception
Our reception, lying in a period room with apparent beams and stonework, is open 24 hours a day. You will be welcomed by Saïd, George and Ahmed, who will help you to discover this district. Our multilingual - English, German - and experienced staff are extremely attentive and are at your service, during the day or at night time, to answer any of your questions.

Breakfast
You can enjoy a peaceful breakfast from 8.00 am to 11.00 am in our dining room with apparent beams and stonework, decorated in warm colours and offering friendly and attentive service. On the menu: baguettes, bread, butter, a selection of jams, orange juice, a choice of coffee, tea, or hot chocolate. You are now ready to take on Paris!

Our lounge offers an unusual combination of a friendly welcome and an elegant decor, in the hotel's warm and peaceful atmosphere. Relax in this lounge between two museum visits or between two business meetings.

Services
The Hotel de la Herse d'Or has a range of services for the wellbeing of our guests: the hotel and reception are open 24 hours a day, pets (dogs and cats) are welcome, a reading room, Wi-Fi Internet access, a photocopy and fax service, a safe at reception, a luggage room, a public car park in the building next door, a bicycle park in the hotel basement. Also, we can take care of making reservations for your excursions, shows and restaurants.

Tourism in the district
When visiting the Marais, in the centre of Paris, you will discover some of the most beautiful historic monuments in the city. Furthermore, you will be able to take advantage of some of the most original shops in the city which can be found here. They are open at weekends for tourists and for all those who enjoy visiting old city centres. In the middle of Place de la Bastille, famous for the Revolution, as well as for its Opera, stands the Colonne de Juillet. You will be able to visit the famous Louvre Museum, as well as some of the other museums such as the Guimet Museum or the Orsay Museum. Near our hotel lies Place des Vosges, the Carnavalet Museum, Ile Saint-Louis, as well as Notre Dame Cathedral on Ile de la Cité.
