Love at First Sight, Again… Falling in love with something while out researching an article… It happens frequently, and every month I have to worry about going bankrupt, but once again I went ahead and bought it. I just happened across this wallet at the Isaac Reina boutique. I'd been looking for one for a while, but as soon as I touched this one and saw how easy it was to use I immediately decided on it. However, after I paid for it I started to feel a little guilty once I realized it was made from the fur of an animal. I’m so sorry. But I promise to use it really, really carefully! Galeries Lafayette’s Christmas Tree 2007 Once again this year a huge Christmas tree is on display in the main building of Galeries Lafayette, under the beautiful Neo-Byzantine style dome, where everyone who comes in takes the time to stop and look up at it in admiration. At first we though it was the pretty much the same tree they have every year, but after checking last year’s tree we saw that it had been done all in gold. This year’s is done with relatively orthodox ornaments, mainly in white and silver with red accents. Christmas Decorations These are our Christmas decorations. Well, from last year. We took cookies that were past their expiration date and cut them into letters of the alphabet (since we didn’t have cookie cutters for it, we printed the letters out on the computer to use as a guide!), then put them on a string and hung them from a lamp pole. Hmmm, we should probably start thinking about what kind of decorations to make this year… But that's a fun problem to have! |
